Floodlit Thames Tunnel

From time to time, we organise unusual metro journeys, courtesy of London Overground.

On special days, enjoy stunning views from the platform at Wapping and look down from the platform through the lighted arches of the old fairground. Before you travel to Wapping, call at Rotherhithe and stoop through the narrow doorway to descend into the secret chamber. This is the Grand Entrance Hall, where Brunel nearly drowned. Meet at the Museum for your timed entry into the secret chamber. Collect at the Museum your information sheet for a self-guided train tour under the River Thames.
