From time to time, we organise unusual metro journeys, courtesy of London Overground. These are in the gift of Transport for London and only happen only on special days.
Meanwhile, on any day you can enjoy the views from the platform at Wapping and look down from the platform through the lighted arches of the old fairground. Before you travel to Wapping, call at Rotherhithe and descend into the the Grand Entrance Hall, where Brunel nearly drowned. Call at the Museum for advice and directions for the secret chamber.
Bring a travel card or ticket valid for the journey.
