How strong is a piece of paper? How long can you build a bridge? Where are Brunel’s Bridges in London? What is the longest bridge in the world? Why is geometry important?
The Brunel Museum offers a boat trip under three Brunel bridges, a river walk, a train journey through the Tunnel and a workshop. Structural engineering made simple! Why don’t things don’t fall down. Design and build bridges using recycled materials. Learn about the life and times of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Cost: £10 parents, free for children. Plus Thames Clipper fare (half price)

Creative Writing at the Brunel Museum
A regular series of fortnightly Creative Writing Workshops with Alison Clayburn takes place at the Museum more details.
