Director’s Diary: Monster Mash

This week engineers from all over the world came to the British Tunnelling Society conference and visited the Museum. The International Tunnelling Association presented the Museum with a handsome bust of IK Brunel.

Next week Totally Thames Festival draws to a close with more performances in the Grand Entrance Hall. We have film from Secret Adventures and a theatre piece called MEDUSA from Central School. In a savage mash up of performance, song, puppetry and improvisation, we are asked: ‘Medusa Woman or Monster?’ The month long Thames Festival ends with theatre and song – in English – about the Russian Revolution.
