Director’s Diary – Geared up for half term

Visits from Redriff, Albion and Westminster Upper School, three groups from University of the Third Age and from City & Village. For engineering students from Atlanta, Georgia we provided bridges, tunnels and ships on our boat trip and for railway enthusiasts we an interview for http://allthestations.co.uk (available online next week). This is a documentary film about  ALL the national railway stations in Britain. Rotherhithe of course claims the oldest river tunnel.

Next week is half term, when we will be busy with children’s craft activities and families on our boat trips http://www.brunel-museum.org.uk/learning/4987-2/.
On Thursday the Anglo Russian Culture Club present their last concert in the wonderful acoustics of the underground chamber: Beethoven and Chopin.
On Friday and Saturday, as usual, the rooftop garden is bathed in sunlight for Midnight Apothecary. Best cocktails in London and last week sold out – book early!
