Director’s Diary: Leviathan & Explorers on the Thames

I hope you have been enjoying the SS Great Eastern photographs retweeted from @RoseTeanby website. Rose provided many of the pictures for our Great Eastern book. She has been posting each day, building to the climax launch of the ship 160 years ago on 31st January.
 
This week we have the usual boat trips and river walks, and school sessions every day with out partners Thames Explorer Trust. Children will be looking at foreshore archaeology…
